Infringements
When intellectual property rights are infringed, it's important to respond quickly and consistently. Inaction may lead to a “watering down” and possibly complete disappearance of the rights.
In many cases it will be sufficient to contact the offending party to draw attention to the infringement and request that the infringing act be stopped. In other cases it is necessary to take legal action, for example by filing a formal opposition with a registration authority or by requesting an injunction from the court.
